People & Talent Partner (Vancouver Site Lead) — Roblox, Vancouver, Canada

Roblox's Vancouver office is a growing hub of engineering talent, and the company is looking for a People & Talent Partner to shape how that team grows, stays, and thrives.
The Role & Impact
As the Vancouver People & Talent Lead, you'll own talent strategy for the site while serving as the people and office point of contact — a role that sits at the intersection of talent strategy and organizational health. You'll work closely with Recruiting, People Business Partners, and Engineering leadership, reporting to the People Business Partner Lead supporting the Vancouver engineering organization.
What You'll Do
Talent Strategy
- Own full-cycle talent acquisition for the Vancouver site: hiring strategy with Engineering leadership, recruiting for senior and niche technical roles, building local pipelines, and supporting workforce planning
- Champion Roblox as an employer of choice in the Vancouver tech market through university partnerships and local industry networks
- Oversee the local internship program end-to-end with the Early Careers team, building a pipeline of future full-time hires
Office Health & Employee Experience
- Drive the programs and rituals that make Vancouver a high-engagement, high-trust office — onboarding, team events, and feedback loops that surface what the team needs
- Serve as the trusted go-to for Vancouver employees: fielding questions, navigating sensitive situations, and connecting people to resources across People, Legal, Immigration, and Finance
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with depth in technical domains (Engineering, Gaming, Rendering/Graphics, AI/ML)
- Demonstrated success hiring senior and niche technical talent in competitive markets
- A data-driven approach — analysing metrics, surfacing insights, and informing strategy
- Experience building people programs and systems from the ground up
- Excitement about being on-site full-time in Vancouver
